Autostat: Russia’s LCV sales fall 42% to 7,200 cars in Nov
MOSCOW, Dec 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s sales of light commercial vehicles fell 42.1% on the year to 7,200 cars in November, Autostat Analytic Agency said in a statement on Thursday.
Russian car maker GAZ sold 3,300 LCVs in the period, down 29.3% on the year, while sales of another LCV maker UAZ decreased 29.6% at 1,600 cars.
LCV sales of Mercedes decreased 47.9% to 662 cars and Lada LCV sales fell 35.9% to 569 cars. Volkswagen’s LCV sales fell 70.4% to 174 units, while LCV sales of Peugeot decreased 76.5% to 89 cars, Huindai’s sales fell 71.5% to 76 units and Citroen’s sales decreased 65.4% to 71 LCVs.
In January–November, LCV sales decreased 32.8% to 82,800 cars.
